We finally got a hook to hang our really cool solar powered bird feeder. There are little lights that glow at night so it looks like a lantern.

The half-way point. Combining the new and exisiting deck together. Terri in mid stride mowing the lawn with our vintage push mower. Denali is quickly learning the new steps. I think she likes it a lot better than the old white mess of steps that was very confusing for her. She went to the vet and eye vet yesterday. the Vet said that she needs another dog companion. What does everyone think? Should we get her a seeing eye dog?

Here is the latest project on our own house. We tore out the old ugly steps that were here and are going to extend the porch steps across.

I went back down to Bluff this last weekend to finish up some small details on the house. Most of the students were able to make it down. The house is now liveable except Caroline is still waiting for electricity, but as soon as she has that she'll also be able to run the pump that is hooked up to the cistern and she'll have running water.

I realize that it's been a while since our last update. Nothing too exciting has been happening. Working, some house work, helping friends move, watched a lot of the World Cup. We did start working out together at the gym. That's been really good. I've stopped eating boxes of Twinkies. Last weekend we went to the gym and then went on a hike in the area you see in the image. It was all the way up the road in the canyon that we got married. We were around the Big Water and Little Water Creek. It was a spur of the moment kind of thing, so sorry there aren't any real photos. It was quite nice however.

Terri and I went up to our friends' parent's house up above the Capitol to see all the city's fireworks display. You can see four seperate shows in this photo.
