Here's a little something I've been working on. I haven't made a computer 3d model like this in years. It takes forever, but it can make some pretty cool images.

A Day in the Life of 2 Ts

A Day in the Life of 2 Ts
There has recently been some interest in more information about the Bluff project house I helped build. Click this link to view a PDF book about the house that I put together with some other students. It's best viewed two pages at a time, as if it were a real book. Enjoy.

We also installed new drapes in the back room last weekend. All from IKEA of course.

We put handles onto our cabinets a little while ago. It's strange how such a little thing can make a big difference.

Terri took this really nice photo of Denali. Terri made Denali pose like she was at a fashion shoot, all angled and looking over her shoulder and smiling. Terri can't accept that deep down, Denali would really rather still be wearing her spiked collar.
Tristan (T1T2)

I say a nice rainbow on my way up to the university today. The stop light I was at had just turned green, so I wasn't able to zoom in on it. You can barely see it above the mountains, but it was nice.

This picture is a few days old (it was taken on the 25th), but this is what the architecture school parking lot looks like at midnight on a snowy night. This snow is all gone now, it felt like 80 degrees on Saturday, but it was nice while it lasted. This is a good indication that there is some good snow happening in the mountains.

Terri and I were thinking about getting another dog this weekend (me more than her). We found these really cool dogs up for adoption. They were both Redbone Coonhounds. Beautiful dogs, you should look them up. It's a good thing we didn't get one, because later in the night we found out we already have a good coonhound. I let Denali out and before I could think Denali already had this raccoon in the tree. It was incredible. The coon was on our deck and Denali had no problem following it down the steps, across the driveway and up the tree. Just like a coonhound. (For those that don't know, Denali is our blind Jack Russell Terrier.) At first I thought it was the cat that used to hang around our house when we first moved in, but then I finally got a glimpse of it in the tree. We had to coax Denali back inside, because while she had surprise on her side at first, the raccoon, if it decided to come down from the tree, would probably have the upperhand. Terri, meanwhile, had barracaded herself in the computer room, afraid that the raccoon would blow past me in the doorway and go after her. I later found her looking up "raccoon danger" on the internet.

Denali and Buddy

I don't know if you've seen the Petsmart commercials with the dog who won't let their toy out of their sight, but Terri and I couldn't resist getting Denali the toy in the commercial. She loves it, and as expected, always knows where it is. She can't resist the fact that it has two different squeakers in it.

In the spirit of Halloween, Terri's surgeon dyed her toes orange after her ankle surgery today. (Really though it's just blood and iodine, which makes it a little more gross Halloween than cute pumpkin toes halloween.) She's doing really well. The surgery only took about an hour and a half. She has to wear this boot for a few weeks, but she is able to walk on it already without crutches which is pretty amazing. Thanks for all the get well wishes.

Ashley, these are about a block from our house. These units in the photo are across the street from a park and are within walking distance to the light-rail line and the baseball field. The weather here is nice right now. It's been pretty warm, in about the 70's and low 80's.

Not a bad day to be in the mountains.
Tristan (T1T2)

Here's a picture from our hike in Mill Creek Canyon today. It was spectacular. For the last couple of years I've always just missed the peak colors here in Utah. Terri and I finally timed it right this time.

These are the cool new apartments going up near our house. We wish these were the ones going up right next door, but no such luck. It's been funny hearing people talking about these because for the longest time they looked pretty bad. A lot of people I've heard mention these thought they were going to be storage units or something. I was hoping that they were going to do something nice with them. They started putting up the wood today and it looks really nice.

These three trees alway turn yellow together. I drive by them in the morning on my way to school. I had to stand in the middle of the street for this photo so I was rushed and didn't get the exposure that I wanted.
