Could you help save a life?

A fellow EMC employee, a healthy 27 year old, recently became very ill with leukemia and is in desperate need of a bone marrow transplant to save his life. Nick is 3/4 Caucasian and 1/4 Japanese and doctors have told him he has virtually 0% chance of finding a donor.

All 40,000 EMC employees were asked to be tested to see if they could be a match. Unfortunately, the donor criteria is very limiting.

Any person whose ethnic background is a mix of Asian and Caucasian, and is in good health with no history of cancer or major illness, and is between the ages of 18 and 60, is a potential donor for Nick. One does not need to be 75% Caucasian and 25% Asian -- any potential mix could work.

If you, or anyone you know, could be a potential donor, please pass on this information and get tested. You could make the impossible possible and save Nick's life.

Testing kits can be ordered at www.aadp.org
