Fall cleanup
What is is about leaves that kids find so enjoyable? I just hope he finds snow as much fun this winter.

Terri and I were sitting in bed with Max the other night. He was flipping through a magazine and started babbleling...finally, Terri was like, "I think he's saying Elmo." We've maybe only seen Elmo once on youtube, we never watch it on TV and don't really have anything around the house with Elmo on it. We guess he picked it up at school. Regardless, it's pretty cute when he says it. We picked up some hand-me-down toys from some friends yesterday, and they had this Elmo. Max has always been a little weirded out by lifesize stuffed toys, he's still not sure about this Elmo, but I think he's warming up to it.

Happy birthday
I realize Terri's birthday was last week, and I realize that I've been robbing our enormous blog fan base of the opportunity to wish her a happy birthday (at least those who didn't last week). We've just been so busy celebrating her birthday week I just now had time to upload photos.

Fall Hike
Max and I took a short hike up Big Cottonwood. The colors weren't fantastic, but an early snow has already knocked a bunch of leaves down. Yah for snow, but boo for a short Fall.

Picture in Picture
This is the first piece of art Tristan has ever sold. It was a big day. He signed it and everything. Some day it will probably be worth millions. ;)
